More info:
Bryce Canyon Natl Park

Thousands of delicately carved spires rise in brilliant color from the amphitheaters of Bryce Canyon National Park. Wind, water and geologic mayhem have shaped and etched the pink cliffs at Bryce, which isn't actually a canyon but the eastern slope of the Paunsaguant Plateau.

Dixie Natl Forest

Stretches for about 170 miles across southern Utah. It includes almost two million acres and is the largest national forest in Utah. The forest is adjacent to three national parks and two national monuments, and includes areas of similar natural beauty. The red sandstone formations in Red Canyon rival those of Bryce Canyon National Park. Hell's Backbone Bridge and the view into Death Hollow are breathtaking. From the top of Powell Point, it is possible to see for miles into three different states. Boulder Mountain and its many small lakes provide opportunities for hiking, fishing, and viewing outstanding scenery.

Pine Lake Campground

Located next to its scenic namesake lake high on the Colorado Plateau at an elevation of 8100 feet. Visitors enjoy canoeing, fishing and exploring local ATV trails.

Natural Features:
Pine Lake is situated at the foot of beautifully forested peaks banded with red and white layers of sandstone. The campground is nestled among a forest of spruce and towering ponderosa pines, and is adjacent to Pine Lake, however it is not visible from the campground.

Recreation:

A short trail leads from the campground to Pine Lake, which offers great canoeing and kayaking, as well as fishing for rainbow, cutthroat and brook trout.

Over 20 miles of ATV trails are present. The Pine Lake and Powell Point OHV Trailheads are just beyond the campground's entrance. A loading ramp is provided.

Facilities:

The campground offers four group sites and several family sites. Accessible vault toilets and drinking water are provided. A well-maintained gravel road leads to the campground, providing good access for cars and RVs alike.

Nearby Attractions:

Bryce Canyon National Park is 45 minutes from the campground, with breathtaking scenery and excellent hiking opportunities. Kodachrome Basin State Park is an hour away, with towering rock spires, a natural arch and great hiking trails.
