WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW NOW or SHOULD KEEP IN MIND...
- Meals will be provided, however, please bring own drinks & trail snacks/mixes.
- Making sure you have all your equipment, if you’re going to borrow equipment from someone, get it a.s.a.p.
- Setup your carpool with other campers now.
- Carpools are responsible for all their transportation expenses during the trip.
- Please help with the person driving you by reimbursing them for the cost of gas, etc…round-trip is about approximately 600-800 miles (with excursions). 4-5 hours drive one-way from LA Valley area
- Please make sure you have reliable transportation (car is in shape).
- If you are planning to hike, make sure to bring hiking shoes that you've use before and bring nail clippers.
- Group meals (breakfast and dinner) will be provided
- If you have special dietary needs please be prepared to bring those with you, we won't be able to accommodate for you.
- Bring your own bottled water, favorite drinks, and snacks (drinks not provided)
- There are toilets at our campground.
- We will caravan to the park, if you have FRS/GRMS radios (walkie-talkies), bring them.
- Bring cash for incidentals during the trip (limited ATMs at the park).
WHAT TO BRING
- Tent
- Sleeping Bag
- Pillow
- Air Mattress (optional)
- Clothing: Warm clothes for the evenings (jeans, sweatshirts w/ hood, jackets, sweatpants, and pajamas.) Cool clothes for the day time (shirts, T-shirts, hats, swimsuit).
- Towels
- Toiletries: toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, lotion, hairbrush, combs, etc. Lots of quarters (coins) for showers.
- Shoes: walking + hiking shoes (at least two pairs), rubber slippers for taking showers.
- Nail clippers.
- Bundle of Fire wood per car.

- First Aid: Band-Aids, Tylenol, cough syrup, Pepto or Mylanta

- Bring your own drinks. Drinks WILL NOT be provided. Bring enough to last 4 days (esp. water)!!!
- Bring your own snacks, especially for days when we will be hiking (i.e. trail mix, nuts, dried fruit).
- Bring some spending money just in case you want to purchase things on the day trip(s).
- Coins for showers (bring lots of quarters for long showers)
*If you are going to share equipment with anyone, i.e. a tent, make sure you know how many people fit in the tent so there’s plenty of room.
