2024 EDGE CAMPING TRIP (JULY 21-27)

OVERVIEW

Park: Glacier National Park, MT

Date: July 21-27
Campground: Emery Bay,  Hungry Horse Reservoir, Flathead National Forest

All campers will be responsible for covering the cost of their own transportation, camping equipment, meals, and supplies for the duration of the trip.  You can go in with other campers with meals and supplies as well as carpooling which is highly recommended.  The registration fee covers campsite reservation only.

Accommodations and Facilities

Emery Bay Campground is located on the Hungry Horse Reservoir, high in the Rocky Mountains, less than 30 miles from the Continental Divide, surrounded by towering mountain peaks. Visitors can expect a variety of recreational activities, including fishing, boating, swimming, hiking, exploring, and big game hunting. Emery Bay Campground is just 15 miles southwest of the West Glacier entrance into Glacier National Park.

Each site is equipped with tables and campfire rings with grills. Vault toilets are provided. Also drinking water is provided after June 15th. Water is not a fill station so please come with your RV water full. An on-site host is available to answer any questions about the campground and surrounding areas.

Campground is about 1,340-1400 miles north (20 hours drive) of Porter Ranch (Los Angeles) via I-15N.
