E.D.G.E. Camping

This year's E.D.G.E ministry camping trip will be in Inyo National Forest June 26th to 29th (Saturday to Tuesday). REGISTRATION IS CLOSED! Located in California's beautiful Eastern Sierra, the Inyo National Forest offers clean air, crystal blue skies, mountain lakes and streams, challenging trails, high mountain peaks, and beautiful views. With over two million acres, the Inyo National Forest is home to many natural wonders, including Mt. Whitney, Mono Lake, Mammoth Lakes Basin, and the Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest, as well as seven Congressionally-designated Wildernesses, comprising over 650,000 acres of land. Agnew Meadows campground , which is located at 8400' elevation, is near the trailhead for the Pacific Crest Trail and John Muir Trails. PROPOSED ITINERARY - FOR EASTERN SIERRA NEVADA 2010 CAMPING TRIP 6AM Saturday, June 26: Caravan Meets (meet at Porter Ranch Town Center - In-N-Out, 118 Fwy & Porter Ranch Drive, click here for map ) 7AM Saturday, June 26: Caravan Leaves Chatsworth 9AM Saturday, June 26: Pit Stop - Palmdale 12PM Saturday, June 26: Lunch (TBA, Mammoth Lakes) ~1PM Saturday, June 26: Arrive at Inyo National Forest ~2PM Saturday, June 26: Check-in Agnew Meadows campground.
